Word or Phrase of the Day

I have decided that in addition to my regular studies I am going to add a word or phrase a day to my vocabulary. I will try to post this daily to the blog in addtion to my somewhat regular updates. Is there a word or phrase you feel is a must know early in this process? Let me know and I will use it.

Today I will use:

mennyi - how much.
